The AKG SA-61 is a stand adapter that is used to mount microphones with a tapered shaft to a microphone stand. It has a 5/8-inch thread that fits into the stand and a 3/8-inch thread adaptor that fits into the microphone. The SA-61 is also adjustable, so you can tilt the microphone to the desired angle.
The SA-61 is a standard accessory for some AKG microphones, such as the C 535 EB, C 5900M, D 3700M/D 3700MS and D 3800M/D 3800MS. It is also an optional accessory for other AKG microphones.
